“Canción Para Regresar,” released Sept. 26 on Universal Music Latino/UMLE, surged 65% to 8.2 million audience impressions in the week ending Feb. 5, according to Luminate. Four Univision-owned stations were key to the track’s ascent: KQMR Phoenix, KVVF San José, Calif., KDXX Dallas and WVIV Chicago.

Yatra, from Colombia, last ruled Latin Airplay with “La Pelirroja” in July 2025. Cuban reggaetón duo Gente de Zona returns to the summit after most recently reigning with “Soy Yo,” with Don Omar and Wisin, in July 2022.

For Spanish singer-songwriter and actress Belinda, “Canción Para Regresar” builds upon her sole prior Latin Airplay top 10, “Amor a Primera Vista,” with Los Angeles Azules and Lalo Ebratt and featuring Horacio Palencia (No. 5 peak, 2019).

“Canción Para Regresar” marks the first No. 1 for Lucho RK, also from Spain, on any Billboard lists, following his U.S. chart debut through the team-up in November.

Beyond its Latin Airplay coronation, “Canción Para Regresar” climbs 2-1 on the Latin Pop Airplay and Latin Rhythm Airplay charts. Plus, it makes its Hot Latin Songs debut, at No. 43, where Yatra, Belinda and Gente de Zona up their career counts to 20, nine and 14 entries, respectively. Lucho RK lands his first title on the multi-metric tally.
